On the Cusp of Autumn
It has been mostly sunny here, but the temperature has noticeably dropped. We used to see the sun as a sign of dresses, iced coffee, and BBQ. Now I'm finding we have to wear sweaters, and tea and soup are starting to sound more comforting. It is the start of autumn, when the leaves have changed, but the dreary rain hasn't set in yet. We are going to have to learn to dance in the rain here, or at least brave regular trips in it. Olin will have to get used to his Muddy Buddy. Breccan needs rain pants, since his jacket no longer goes down to his knees! I just bought utilitarian rain boots. If we want to maintain the routine we've established, we will have to brave the elements. But for now we're enjoying bright sunshine and crisp leaves, perfect for stomping around in the park!
