I talked earlier about clothes that you don't need to buy from the maternity section. So much maternity clothing is boring, frumpy, expensive, or poor quality (or all four!) There are definitely a few things I think you should splurge from the maternity section! Some can be found used, some are worth buying new.

LeggingsThe good news is they are usually cheap and easy to find. The quality on most leggings isn't great, so they are definitely worth buying new. I also like having 2 pairs, so if one gets dirty I always have another on hand. Sometimes by the end of a pregnancy, these and over-sized tunics are all that fit! Also, do yourself a favor and get full panel. They are glorious!

Jeans

I wore my maternity jeans last time until they ripped a hole in the crotch at 6 months postpartum. Even then, I mourned their passing. Everywhere sells skinny cuts, so you can usually find a good deal anywhere for those. Finding other cuts is trickier. I have a pair of boyfriend cut and wide leg jeans that I really like this time around!imageASOS Boyfriend CutimageDestination Maternity - Fit & Flare

Tank tops/T-shirts

While you definitely can get away with non-maternity tanks and tees for the most part, a few that will be long enough to cover a third trimester bump are a good idea. Here are some, whether your style leans toward tanks, tees, or long sleeves!imageTarget - Tank TopimageH&M - TshirtimageOld Navy - Long Sleeve
