Mama's Night Out with Nivea
Nick and I had a much needed date night. Nick's sister took the boys, and we went out for dinner and drinks for 5 WHOLE HOURS. It was wonderful. Olin is finally taking a bottle after refusing to use one for 6 months. Hopefully this means I will get a few more breaks in the months to come.I took a short amount of time to pamper myself before we left to drop off the boys. I took a relaxing soak in the tub, and I actually did my make up! I had a few new products from Nivea to try out over the course of the evening.I've been cheating and using my shampoo as a body wash since we moved. Using the Nivea Creme Soft Body Wash made such a difference. My skin didn't feel as dry, and the smell was so soothing. The Express Eye Make-Up Remover rescued me from getting a little over zealous with eye shadows. We went out for dinner and drinks at Central City Brew Pub. Being gluten free, I feel a bit left out of the craft beer trend. Central City has some cider options, and their menu has some great gluten free options. I was impressed with how light their pizza crust was. My favorite thing, though, was their Imperial Cider - perfectly flavored for fall! I will be sending Nick with my growler for a fill before the season is through!Once we got home, the Nivea Refreshing Cleansing Wipes made getting my make up off easy and fast. I added some Nivea Creme to moisturize and hopefully ease the dry skin itchiness. I find so often that I'm rushing to get the boys' teeth brushed and baths done that I neglect my own needs. A quick wipe of the face and dab of lotion goes a long way toward making me feel like I'm being taken care of too! I love that it is safe for the whole family, so I can use it on the boys as the weather gets colder.
